There is no obvious connection between the psychoanalytic theory and its objet. The object itself is the field of its praxis. If a field is established by its boundaries and by the operations that constitute it, then the analytic field is delimited by the oedipal order and the loss of objet.
Our purpose is to investigate in this field the consequences produced by prevailing discourses and their effects on the subject and on the practice of psychoanalysis.
a.- With regard to the subject, the extent of the function of horror (which can be described as the subjective translation of the global extension of only one thought) as well as its utilization: the dictatorship of profit and its intrinsic consequence: the threat to employment and its categories. Thus, for example, according to R. Sennet, "two traits are at stake in Davos: the ability to become detached from the past and the ability to accept the fragmentation."
b.- With regard to psychoanalysis, the variations on the modes of approach to consultation, as well as the inevitable question about their ending, since neither the prevailing morale nor the ideologies that emerged in the seventies seem to be able to guarantee any kind of prosperity.
