Resumen
Los problemas centrales que procesa todo sujeto en su constitución subjetiva, se articulan según modos y contenidos que propone cada cultura. Para los profesionales que trabajamos con niños, la vigencia de ciertas patologías y su posible relación con la representación sobre la infancia en la Modernidad Tardía, es un tema privilegiado de reflexión.
Esta investigación propone una indagación crítica de los contenidos que sobre la niñez en general y los niños en particular, circulan en los diferentes discursos del espacio socio cultural. Dichos contenidos organizan una representación que hemos denominado subjetividad infancia (AP28) definida como una construcción imaginaria atravesada por un sistema social de referencias semióticas. El término niñez, designa al proceso de subjetivación comprendido entre el nacimiento y el final del período puberal. El concepto niño nombra al sujeto singular de dicho proceso y, a la vez, al soporte y sostén real de la representación infancia.
Proponemos indagar la representación infancia a partir de un campo compuesto por diversas formas de transmisión socio-simbólica: espacio televisivo, textos gráficos y objetos juguetes. Como marco metodológico general, contamos con el esquema de análisis tripartito de Thompson, J. B. (1998)

Subjectivity childhood and social practice
The main problems that a person processes in his subjective constitution, articulate according to ways and contents that each culture proposes. For us who work with children the prevalence of certain pathologies and its possible relationship with the childhood representation in the Late Modernity, is a privilege topic for reflection.
This investigation proposes a critical study about the contents of general childhood and children in particular, that circulates in different speeches of the social-cultural space. Such contents are organised in a representation that we have called subjectivity childhood (AP 28) defined as an imaginary construction crossed by asocial system of semiotic references. The term childhood designates the process of subjectivation comprised between birth and the end of the puberty period. The term child names the singular individual of such process and at the same time, the real support of the childhood representation.
We propose to study the childhood representation beginning from an area formed by different ways of social-symbolical transmission : television space, graphic texts and toy objects. Our methodological frame is Thompson´s (1998) tripartite diagram of analysis.
