BULLYING AS AN EXPRESSION OF INTERPERSONAL VIOLENCE. DESIGN OF A TECHNIQUE FOR ASSESSING ITS INFLUENCE ON SCHOLARSHIP CONTEXTS.

During the last years, the concern and alarm in our society about the increase of news about much aggressive and violent behaviour among students inside scholarship contexts has come up.
Traditionally it was thought that jokes, harassment, discrimination, threaten, etc. among pairs were part of the “normal” development of adaptation to school. However, an important number of researches during the last decades in different countries of the world, were evidenced that this kind of maltreats that were convened to call “bullying”, brings severe emotional and social consequences. The systematic study of bullying was born in Norway during the seventieth decade with Olweus papers. Considering the great number of international researches about this topic, it is very important to have diagnostics techniques that allow us to assess and describe the bullying on the base of our own scholarship and culture realities. This will also permit us to design and implement prevention and intervention programmes which contribute to solve the problem. Because of those reasons, the present investigation has the aim of constructing and validating a reliable technique to assess the bullying in young people of 11 to 14 years old that attend to schools of Buenos Aires City.
