A partir de la Declaración Universal de Bioética y Derechos Humanos (UNESCO, 2005) se ha ratificado la importancia de articular los conceptos de Ética y Derechos Humanos aplicados a escenarios concretos de la práctica. El presente proyecto, continuación del UBACYT 2004-07, indaga esa articulación en situaciones actuales y éticamente controvertidas del campo de la salud. El proyecto consta de tres partes. En la primera, se completa la adaptación al español del REST - Racial Ethical Sensibility Test –primera herramienta en español para evaluar sensibilidad ética. En la segunda, se realiza un trabajo empírico con entrevistas a profesionales para relevar sus concepciones frente a situaciones críticas de la práctica enmarcadas en la Declaración (Consentimiento, Beneficio y Efectos Nocivos, Confidencialidad, Privacidad, Discriminación y Estigmatización, Protección de las Generaciones Futuras, entre otras) las cuales son analizadas desde la perspectiva ética y de la psicología política. En la tercera parte, se sistematiza la información relevada, desarrollando una multimedia que integra la serie IBIS International Bioethical Information System, destinada a programas internacionales de capacitación en Etica Aplicada, Bioética y Derechos Humanos. La transferencia prevista incluye cursos de posgrado, programas nacionales de Formación Ética y un sistema de acreditación de normas de eco-bioética.

ETHICS AND HUMAN RIGHTS: ITS ARTICULATION INTO THE UNIVERSAL DECLARATION (UNESCO 2005) FACING THE NEW DILEMMAS OF THE PROFESSIONAL PRACTICE
The Universal Declaration of Bioethics and Human Rights was established by UNESCO in October 2005. It confirms the intimate bond between the notions of Ethics and Human Rights. This project aims at studying that articulation as it appears on a specific scenario: the new dilemmatic issues of the health practice. The project is compound by three stages. The first one will be focused on the update of REST, Racial Ethical Sensibility Test. The second stage will constitute an empirical work through interviewing a sample of practitioners, in order to research the professional conceptions facing critical situations of the practice, which will be analyzed from the ethical perspective and from the Political Psychology frame. The third stage will be focused on the systematization of the data achieved during the two first steps, and the development of a multimedia system, which will be part of IBIS, International Bioethical Information System. The transference of the results will include a vast range of activities, from postgraduate courses to national programs of Ethical training in education.
