Argentina, país constituido predominantemente por inmigrantes, ocupa el primer lugar en número de suicidios en América Latina en todas las edades y, especialmente, entre los adolescentes, sin conocerse los motivos para que ello ocurra.
Aunque esta tendencia alcista es mundial, resultó relevante vislumbrar en investigaciones anteriores, cómo el alto potencial suicida y el número de consultas psicológicas solían ser frecuentes en población de migrados internos.
Cuando se migra se pone en riesgo la identidad, por la dificultad de elaborar tantas múltiples pérdidas, ubicando al sujeto en el orden de lo traumático y poniendo en juego su posibilidad de afrontamiento. Esto implica además un esfuerzo psicológico de reorganización personal, para adaptarse y no quedar excluidos del nuevo sistema social, que puede poner en riesgo la salud mental e incluso física.
La administración del Psicodiagnóstico de Rorschach y la aplicación de la Escala de Funciones Yoicas de Realidad (E.F.Y.R) y de la Escala de Suicidio para Adultos (E.S.P.A), ya demostrada anteriormente su significación estadística, permitirá detectar posibles alteraciones, y/o mayor riesgo suicida en población de migrados, que posibilitarían planificar futuras acciones preventivas.

Argentina, a country formed predominantly by immigrants, occupies the first place in Latin American suicides rate for all ages and, especially, for adolescents, without a reason being detected.
Although this rising trend is a global problem, it is relevant to find from previous investigations, the way the elevated suicide potential and the number of psychological consultation were frequent among the internal migration population.
When migrating, the person risks identity due to the difficulty to work out the multiple loses, placing the subject within the traumatic frame and risking his/her possibility of facing the problem up. Additionally, this implies a psychological effort of individual reorganization, to adapt and not to be excluded from the new social system, which may put at risk mental, and even physical health.
The administration of Rorschach Psychodiagnosis, the Egoic Functions of Reality Scale (E.F.Y.R), and the Suicide Scale for Adults (E.S.P.A), with their statistical significance already demonstrated, will allow us to detect possible alterations, and/or increased suicidal risk in the migration population, which would make possible the planning of future preventive actions.
