Logic of castration in the texts of Freud and Lacan from the point of view of modern formal logic.
This research is a continuation of research UBACyT 2008-2010, P056 "Logics of Castration - Limits of the field." As a consolidated group, we began to travel the study of logic on the one hand and on the other we went through the texts of Freud and Lacan, locating the concept of castration. Within the context of this path, logic functioned as a border discourse with psychoanalysis. The research findings were important. At the beggining, and unlike the other issues that were the focus of previous research such as: repression, phobia and repetition, this issue can not be organized under a binary mode of thought for being included, although not explicitly, the notion of phallus. It is not possible to systematize the investigation, for example by placing the castration at different times in the production of Freud and Lacan. Chronological reading would lead us to make history of psychoanalysis. We have insisted on placing an epistemological reading, locating cuts and breaks, which generate a discontinuous field. We then displace ourselves from the binary concept linked to the Aristotelian logic of true-false, consistent with our everyday way of thinking. We do not consider that the fields that are cut involve a progress, this would be the ideal of positivist logic. We present one logic of castration organized by the Aristotelian syllogistic, in accordance with the clinical field of desire in the texts of Freud and Lacan until the 16th Seminar; and another logic organized by the modern formal logic, formulation of which culminates in Lacan's 20th Seminar, Encore, correlate of clinic called of lust. We rescue our journey and the questions raised, and try to give another answer in this investigation. Are the different clinics incommensurable with one another? The terms vary between fields and establish other relationships that did not exist before. Literally "open up new facts". We then posed the following question: Is it possible to compare two different clinical fields? This simple question brings us a great challenge as it involves our work as analysts.
