CONSTRUCTION OF PROFESSIONAL KNOWLEDGE OF PSYCHOLOGISTS AND DILEMMAS OF SITUATED LEARNING IN COMMUNITIES OF PRACTICE
The object of the research is the construction of Psychologists professional knowledge through their work in Education, Health and Justice Institutions and the development and learning, through different settings, of skills that are necessary for a competent professional performance. The research will identify situational models of intervention that Psychologists build jointly with other agents in activity systems with strategic support devices for analyzing and solving problems. The project will study the dilemmas and challenges of the negotiation and cooperation processes for inter-agency work through the reflection in communities of practice. As a follow-up of the research about Modeling Apprenticeship in Psychology and Teaching Psychology Courses at Buenos Aires University (2004-2011), it will be expanded the view of the professional education of Psychologists for working in educational contexts, focusing the shifts in action, position and conceptions and the appropriation/re-meaning of the role during professional experiences. The methodological design is descriptive and quasi-experimental. Significant differences are expected in Psychologists and Psychology Teachers who work in activity systems with strategic tutorial helps in the practice of the role.
