Resumen en inglés:
USE OF ITCS IN UNIVERSITY STUDENTS, AND THEIR RELATIONSHIP TO LEARNING MOTIVATION.
The current project continues ubacyt 2010-2012, "Uses of ITCs by University Students, and their Relationship with Learning and Study Strategies", where an index of Web acceptance was developed. This is a tool for data Surrey which made it possible to verify practices and technology usage of university students, and their relationship with studying and learning practice considered by LASSI scale. During the analysis of 300 sample cases, a conclusion that although there is a high level of use of technological resources, the logic for this usage can be described as instrumental and commercial, showing a decline in usage when teaching and learning processes are involved. This is verified by correlating this instrument with LASSI scale. However, it was noticeable that when focusing on students' learning, and if practical and motivated dimension of technology is involved, students perceive some elements which facilitate use of ITCs in education. This new research aims at investigating and identifying possible relationships between uses of new Information and Communication Technologies (ITCs) and motivation for learning in university students at the university of Buenos Aires, relating the instrument that has been developed with MAPE III Questionnaire (Alonso Tapia, Montero y Huertas, 2000), for motivational evaluation.
