SEXUALITY IN SOCIO-EDUCATIONAL CLOSED CENTERS

This research project has as main objective to determine if the organizational culture of socio-educational closed centers (CSRC), which house young offenders into the criminal law, sexuality framed them. Continue with previous research, entitled Culture and Subculture in Organizations that are home to Young Offenders to Criminal Law: Approach from the Juridical Psychology and from the Institutional Psychology. From the acquired knowledge the culture organizational turns out to be determinant in the behavior of all the members that make these institutions. Thus arises the need to investigate the subjectivity of youth as it is heavily damaged during your stay. Specifically sexuality has appeared as a dimension silenced by all stakeholders interviewed. This does not happen manifestation of youth sexual housed in the CSRC would seem to be a cultural pattern thereof. Sexuality has two main features, the universal biological substrate as inherent to the human species and the unique feature in both subjective dimension of sexuality that becomes the driving force determining human actions. The latter will be investigated in this project. It is also necessary to note that from a psychoanalytic perspective the age group that is housed at the CSRC, between 14 and 17, is located at puberty. At this stage of life can think of two structural transformations: the subordination of all original sources of sexual excitement to the genitals and object finding. So these experiences occur in the context of confinement, as these young people are deprived of their freedom of movement for justice. As total institution throughout all aspects of domestic life are developed in the same place and under the same authority, always with a large number of others, with the same treatment and the same things do together. In this case the daily activities of young people are set by the management team of the Centre, in dialogue with the intervention teams of primary and secondary education.
