Resumen:
TENSIONES Y TRADICIONES ENTRE ABORÍGENES, GAUCHOS, COMUNAS Y PAISANOS. ETNOGRAFÍA DE LA FIESTA DE LA MARCACIÓN Y DEL CAMARUCO, EN LA COMUNIDAD MAPUCHE MARIANO EPULEF
Se presenta el análisis de dos modalidades de gobierno en la comunidad mapuche Mariano Epulef, ubicada en la zona rural de la provincia de Chubut. Se toma en cuenta la legitimidad otorgada a sus autoridades y las disputas en torno a los alcances de cada una. Por un lado la “Comuna”, presidida por el Jefe comunal, quien trabaja para la aldea y por otro lado la “Comisión aborigen”, que cuenta con el Presidente y con el Cacique, quienes trabajan para la “comunidad”. A partir de una perspectiva etnográfica se analizan los datos obtenidos en un trabajo de campo sobre dos celebraciones que corresponden a cada ámbito de gobierno: el “Camaruco” y la “Primera Fiesta de la Marcación”. Con esta última, impulsada por la Comuna, se funda una tradición, por lo que se consideran las implicancias de las construcciones identitarias que afianzan lo gauchesco universal por sobre lo mapuche particular.

Abstract:
TENSIONS BETWEEN ABORIGINALS AND TRADITIONS, “GAUCHOS”, COMMUNES AND “PAISANOS”. ETHNOGRAPHY OF THE “FIESTA DE LA MARCACIÓN” AND “CAMARUCO” IN THE MAPUCHE COMMUNITY MARIANO EPULEF
We present the analysis of two forms of government in the mapuche community Mariano Epulef, located in rural areas of the province of Chubut. It takes into account the granted legitimacy to their authorities and disputes over the scope of each other. On the one hand the "Commune", chaired by the village headman, who works for the village and secondly the " Aboriginal Commission", with the President and the “Cacique”, who work for the "community". The aim is to analyse data obtained in a fieldwork from an ethnographic perspective, about two celebrations that correspond to each level of government: the "Camaruco" and the "Primera Fiesta de la Marcación”. With the latter, driven by the Commune, a tradition was founded, so its considered the implications of identity constructions that reinforce the “gaucho” universal above what particular “mapuche”.
