P005. Ética y Derechos Humanos: su Articulación ante los Nuevos Dilemas de la Práctica Profesional.

LUGAR DE TRABAJO: FACULTAD DE PSICOLOGÍA, UBA Distintas investigaciones evidencian la íntima relación entre los conceptos de Ética y Derechos Humanos. El presente proyecto indaga esa articulación en un escenario específico: las nuevas cuestiones dilemáticas de la práctica en salud mental. El proyecto consta de tres etapas. En la primera, se actualizan los últimos materiales en el tema, realizando traducciones y adaptaciones al español de las dos herramientas específicas más importantes (APA Ethical Code, 2003; REST - Racial Ethical Sensibility Test, 2002). En la segunda, se realiza un trabajo empírico con entrevistas a profesionales para relevar sus concepciones frente a situaciones críticas de la práctica, las cuales son analizadas desde la perspectiva ética y de la psicología política. En la tercera parte, se sistematiza la información relevada en las dos primeras, desarrollando una multimedia que integra la serie International Bioethical Information System (Proyecto UBA-Tel Aviv University). La transferencia prevista incluye un amplio abanico, que va desde cursos de posgrado hasta programas nacionales de Formación Ética y Educación Antidiscriminatoria.

ETHICS AND HUMAN RIGHTS: ITS ARTICULATION FACING THE NEW DILEMMAS OF THE PROFESSIONAL PRACTICE INSTITUTION: FACULTY OF PSYCHOLOGY, UBA Various investigations show the intimate bond between the notions of Ethics and Human Rights. This project aims at studying that articulation as it appears on a specific scenario: the new dilemmatic issues of the mental health practice. The project is compound by three stages. The first one will be focused on the update of the latest materials about the subject, which will include the translation and adaptation into Spanish of the two most specific and important tools (American Psychological Association Ethical Code, 2003; REST, Racial Ethical Sensibility Test, 2002). The second stage will constitute an empirical work through interviewing a sample of practitioners, in order to research the professional conceptions facing critical situations of the practice, which will be analyzed from the ethical perspective and from the Political Psychology frame. The third stage will be focused on the systematization of the data achieved during the two first steps, and the development of a multimedial system, which will be part of IBIS, International Bioethical Information System (UBA-TAU Project). The transference of the results will include a vast range of activities, from postgraduate courses to national programs of Ethical training and antidiscriminatory education.
