This project is based in a question that emerged from the last two UBACyT projects that I directed, “Phobia and drive”, P031, 1998-2000 and P004, 2001-2002. It is a question about the angst scenes that phobic patients tell. Could those scenes repeated in the patient’s speech be thought as bearing relation to the repetition concept? Is it possible to think a characteristic that is repeated among these scenes and that supports the speech itself? The repetition is a fundamental concept of psychoanalysis; we are interested in investigating the connection between the fundamental concepts of psychoanalysis and the analytic cure. If the structure commands an analysis and it can only be seized by the repetition, which is the main principle of the subjective field, it is necessary to question that function. We will question its grounds in the psychoanalytic field and the boundaries with other discourses; namely philosophy, logic-mathematics and within the social field we will examine categories such as risk factors, protective factors and resilience, with the purpose of recovering the notions with which the psychoanalysis can contribute in this interdisciplinary field. Does the repetition concept allow interrogating notions in which the epidemiology and communitarian health have their field of action?
