El objetivo de este Proyecto es avanzar en la conformación de un Perfil Psicológico de la población universitaria metropolitana y su comportamiento cívico-político y económico.
El presente Proyecto de Investigación es continuación del anterior- con adecuaciones especificas en los objetivos- e integra un programa iniciado en la Programación Científica UBACYT IP02 (1998-2000) cuando se comenzó a indagar las representaciones sobre la noción de democracia y mercado.
La metodología incluirá técnicas de carácter cualitativo y cuantitativo. En este sentido se utilizaran y perfeccionaran los instrumentos ya elaborados en el anterior Proyecto, en particular focus group y cuestionarios auto-administrados.
Específicamente con vistas a determinar el perfil psicológico de la población encuestada se indagará sobre los valores que sustenta esa población, su tipo de consumo en particular el cultural, su disposición hacia las normas (grado y forma de comportamiento anómico), el grado de satisfacción con la carrera universitaria y la percepción sobre su perspectiva laboral.
Por otra parte se indagará sobre el juicio de los estudiantes sobre las instituciones cívico-políticas más relevantes y los conceptos respecto a las principales categorías económicas.

THE POPULATION PSYCHOLOGICAL PROFILE AND THE CITIZENSHIP-POLITIC AND ECONOMIC COLLEGE STUDENT BEHAVIOR
The main goal of this project is to set the psychological profile of the college population of the metropolitan area of Buenos Aires and this population economic political, and citizenship behavior.
The previous project, within the frame of UBACYT IP02 scientific agenda (1998-2000), in which we have started inquiring the democratic and economic representations, is the antecessor of this investigation, accordingly modified to fulfill its new objectives.
Methodologically speaking, we will measure the population mentioned above collecting both, qualitative and quantitative data. To achieve this aim we will also use and improve the tools implemented in our previous project: focus groups and self-administrated questionnaire, mainly.
Specifically, to set the psychological profile of the interviewed population, we will enquire into the undergraduate student values and consuming behavior, particularly their cultural consuming behavior. We will also explore this population aptitude towards rules and regulations (specially the degree and content of the anomic behavior). We will also asses the satisfaction level of the students with their respective college degree election and their perception about their future career prospect.
On the other hand, we will explore the students ideas on the most relevant politic institutions and their judgments on the most important economic categories. To follow this objective, we will work with different collage classes: Political Psychology II and Epistemology and developmental Psychology II and Ethics and Human Rights from psychology school of Bs.As and other from Lomas de Zamora La Matanza, Quilmes and La Plata university.
