DIFFERENCES BETWEEN MEN AND WOMEN IN THE USE OF DRUGS FROM THE PERSPECTIVE OF JACQUES LACAN TEACHING.

As resulting from the two previous investigations is given off the interest and the necessity to as much examinate in the relation between the different uses of drugs in men and women in the neurosis as in the psychosis. In order to do this the investigation starts from the idea there are two different positions related with drug use in men and women. In the first place, it is outstanding frequent in different statistics about drug use. This difference may be by the type of drug used or by the amount of consultations about drug use and drug addiction in different Health Centers. Beyond the statistics it would be possible to start from the idea that men and women as they are subjective positions that have to be assumed in a libidinal route they imply a disparity choice in front of different alternatives. Differences regarding love, desire, jealousy, enjoyment, etc. And why not consumption. So far we have been able to locate accurately that the drug addictions do not constitute a subjective structure and that they can appear like a pathology in each one of those (neurosis, psychosis and perversion). We made a revision formal of the indications that makes J. Lacan about the drug addiction being able extract that his thesis of rupture responds specifically to the field of the masculine subject and neuroses and cannot be applied to the field of the psychoses and the feminine clinic of the not-all. Respect to the psychosis we are finishing our latest investigation which is in its final stage. Therefore, the present project will try to advance in one of the thematic that we have not been able to approach with depth yet. The purpose is delimitate the relation between drug addiction and sexual difference, in the neurosis and the psychoses from J. Lacan work and perspective specially his latest teaching.
