El presente proyecto de investigación se inscribe en una línea de trabajo abierta por proyectos de investigación previa: UBACyT 2006/2009 P805 y UBACyT 2010/2012 20020090100037. Es el propósito de esta investigación estudiar cómo los escenarios del duelo se han modificado por la incidencia del dominio de la biotecnología en le época actual, observar y registrar las influencias de la medicalización de la muerte y los cambios de funciones que este proceso ha conllevado y su consecuente repercusión y efectos sobre la dimensión del deseo y la experiencia de dolor, en el sujeto duelante. Por otra parte, es nuestro interés indagar, desde el marco teórico psicoanalítico ( Freud, Klein, Winnicott y Lacan), las concepciones de la noción de cuerpo y psiquismo para, desde allí, leer lo que se concibe como "vida digna" y su contrapartida, "muerte digna". The following research project is included in a working trend oponed by previous investigations: UBACyT 2006/2009 and UBACyT 2010/2012 20020090100037. It is the aim of this investigation to study how the sceneries of affliction have been modified by the incidence of the domination of biotechnology nowadays, to observe and register the influences of the medicalization of the death and the changes of the functions that this process has carried and its resulting effects on the desire dimension and the experience of pain, in the mourning subject. On one hand, taking into consideration the theorical psychoanalytical frame (Freud, Klein, Winnicott and Lacan), it is our interest to interrogate the different conceptions of the notion of body and psychism so that they enable us to read waht it is conceived as "dignified life" and its opposite, "dignified death". On the other hand, our research on the function of rituals, ceremonies and traditions as ways of elaborating and contributing to the process of affliction will be deepened considering the subjectivity of our days. As a consequence, taking into account the contributions of the different psychoanalytical authors, we will attempt to work on the complexity of the notion of "reality examination", investigating which are the present mechanisms proposed by biotechnology to try to abolish the lack dimension with the appearance of assumed values created by the
