20020130200297BA La Urgencia en Salud Mental en el Hospital Público en la Ciudad de Buenos Aires.

Este proyecto tiene como objetivo extender la investigación UBACyT 2008 2010 ?ANÁLISIS COMPARATIVO DE LA DEMANDA E INTERVENCIONES EN LA URGENCIA EN SALUD MENTAL? a una muestra anclada en hospitales de Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires para describir las características de la demanda en urgencia así como el modo de intervención y resolución de la misma. El propósito será el de aportar datos sobre esta modalidad de consulta, que permitan en un futuro trazar nuevos estrategias para la prevención, asistencia y promoción de la salud mental para los diferentes contextos urbanos del país y regionales así como diseñar dispositivos adecuados para alojar las urgencias en Salud mental. Se analizará la demanda en urgencia en salud mental en 15 hospitales públicos de la Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires. La finalidad será la de localizar las características de la población consultante en cada hospital así como el modo de intervención y resolución frente a la misma para establecer comparaciones.

This project mail goal is to extend the UBACyT 2008-2010 investigation ?Comparative analysis of the demand and interventions in the mental health urgency? to a sample anchored in public hospitals of the City of Buenos Aires toestablish the profile of the population, as well as of the modalities of the treatments and the way that these urgenciesare resolved. The purpose will be to contribute with the these characteristics of the consulting population in eachhospital to determine comparisons that in the future will allow to draw up strategies for the prevention, attendance and promotion of mental health for the different urban contexts of these countries and in a Regional level, as well as to design appropriate devices to attend the mental health urgencies. The demand of attention in mental health urgencias will be analysed in 15 public hospitals of Buenos Aires. The goal is to locate the characteristics of the consultant population in each hospital as well as of the modalities of the treatments and the way that these urgencies are resolved to establish comparisons.
