RESUMEN

Palabras clave: The diagnosis in psychoanalysis is a topic of permanent debate and carries a multiplicity of problems. In this work, orientated by Jacques Lacan\'s teaching, we will approach only some: the problem of the value of the clinical categories that we use, the opposition diagnostic psychiatric versus diagnostic psychoanalytic, the tension that the diagnosis supports between the categories universal and singular, and finally, the conception of subject that is deduced of the way in which the diagnosis is used in the analytical practice.

SUMMARY

El diagnóstico en psicoanálisis es un tema de permanente debate y conlleva una multiplicidad de problemas. En este trabajo, orientados por la enseñanza de Jacques Lacan, abordaremos solo algunos: el problema del valor de las categorías clínicas que empleamos, la oposición diagnóstico psiquiátrico versus diagnóstico psicoanalítico, la tensión que el diagnóstico sostiene entre lo universal y lo singular, y por fin, la concepción de sujeto que se deduce del modo en que se emplea el diagnóstico en la práctica analítica.
