Delgado. The aim of this paper is to analyze the joint that Freud established between the angst and the formation of character. First of all, it will makean approach of the different conceptualizations than the author proposes about the concept of angst and then examine it in its link between the character formation. The set out goal will be developed considering that Freudian character references are not exhausted in their conceptualization of  “obsessive character” as “reactive formation” against the drive motion; but offer other perspectives that produce an even closer relationship between the character and the drive. In this sense, at the end of the article it is proposed an approach about the characteristic of character like testimony itself of the meeting with the traumatic.

SUMMARY
El presente artículo se inscribe en el plan de beca de maestría: “El carácter: defensa frente a lo real y/o testimonio de lo real mismo. Un recorrido conceptual y sus consecuencias en la clínica psicoanalítica”. Siendo su marco el Proyecto UBACyT 2013-2016: “Síntoma-sinthome: las huellas freudianas en la última enseñanza de Lacan”, dirigido por el Dr. Prof. Osvaldo L. Delgado.
El objetivo de este trabajo es analizar la articulación que Freud establece entre la angustia y la constitución del carácter. En primer lugar, se realizará un abordaje de las diferentes conceptualizaciones que el autor propone sobre el concepto de la angustia, para luego examinarla en su relación con la formación del carácter. El objetivo planteado, será desarrollado teniendo en cuenta que las referencias freudianas sobre el carácter no se agotan en su conceptualización del “carácter obsesivo” como “formación reactiva” contra la moción pulsional; sino que ofrecen otras perspectivas que producen un acercamiento aún mayor entre el carácter y la pulsión. En este sentido, al final del artículo, se propone un abordaje sobre el rasgo de carácter como testimonio mismo del encuentro con lo traumático.
