La alucinación: percepción, cuerpo y lenguaje (M. Merleau-Ponty y J. Lacan)

RESUMEN

Palabras clave: The purpose of this work is to rebuild the lines of the discussion that Maurice Merleau-Ponty and Jacques Lacan have sustained in several publications and speeches, regarding to the way they thought both perception and hallucination. The French philosopher has placed the perception problem in the center of his conceptual building, in order to find a way out to the impasses of empiricism and idealism. This lead him to think about the status of percipient subject and also his relations with the world and language. On the other side, J. Lacan in various moments of his teaching has referred to M. Merleau-Ponty. This references have been critical and are based on the differences between the way he thinks the language structure and the effects on the subject. This work shows that this articulation is very important to clarify the relation among the perception with the hallucination, the body and jouissance.

SUMMARY

En el presente trabajo se intenta reconstruir los ejes de la discusión que han sostenido, a través de diversas publicaciones e intervenciones orales, M. Merleau-Ponty y J. Lacan acerca del modo de concebir la percepción y la alucinación. El filósofo francés ha situado el problema de la percepción en el centro de su edificio conceptual para buscar una salida a los atolladeros del empirismo y el idealismo. Esto lo ha llevado a pensar el estatuto del sujeto percipiente y su consistencia corporal, como así también sus relaciones con el mundo y el lenguaje. Por su parte, J. Lacan en diversos momentos de su enseñanza se ha referido a las elaboraciones de Merleau-Ponty. Estas referencias presentan en general un tono crítico y se sostienen en marcar las diferencias en el modo de pensar la estructura del lenguaje y su incidencia sobre el sujeto. El trabajo destaca cómo esta articulación es fundamental para dar cuenta de la relación de la percepción con la alucinación, el cuerpo y el goce.
