RESUMEN


Palabras clave: The symptom has different states and a varying structure according to the stage of the cure, specially when the cure has not begun nor has the subject become aware of the symptom. The purpose is to highlight two states of the symptom that apparently have much in common, although the whole path of an analysis lies between one and the other. The symptom while still undefined, when the subject has not recognized it as such yet and is therefore integrated into the organization of the self. The symptom at the end, once the point of maximum possible reduction has been reached, once all the significations attached to it have fallen. I present this through two phrases that at first sight appear to be the same but in the course of my exposition I will precisely try to show in their radical difference: The “I am that” before the analysis takes the degraded form of a “I want to be another” associated with the Ideal. The work on the symptom would produce the following: its utmost reduction until the convergence with that same phrase “I am that” referred to the point of fixation of enjoyment that is peculiar to the subject. In other words, until the minimum structure of the symptom, which is irreducible, is found. I locate that finding of the minimum structure of the symptom in that point of fixation.

SUMMARY
El síntoma reconoce distintos estados y estructura según el momento de la cura, más aún cuando ésta no ha comenzado ni el sujeto se ha percatado del mismo. El propósito es destacar dos estados del síntoma que en apariencia tienen bastante en común, aunque entre uno y otro hay todo el recorrido de un análisis. El síntoma en su estado de indefinición, cuando el sujeto aún no lo ha reconocido como tal y por tanto se encuentra integrado a la organización yoica. El síntoma al final, alcanzado el punto de máxima reducción posible, caídas todas las significaciones a él adheridas. Se presentará bajo dos frases, que a simple vista pueden parecer una sola pero que, justamente, en el desarrollo de mi exposición intentaré demostrar en su radical distinción: El “yo soy eso” de antes del análisis toma la forma degradada de un “yo quiero ser otro” articulado al Ideal. El trabajo sobre el síntoma operaría lo siguiente: su máxima reducción hasta el encuentro con esa misma frase “yo soy eso” referida al punto de fijación de goce, singular del sujeto. O sea, hasta el hallazgo de la estructura mínima del síntoma, irreductible, que ubico en ese punto de fijación.
