When Lacan introduces the function of joy plus, he resorts to Marx and Pascal. Firstly, by the interpretation of Marx, he highlights that this function will be built by the same class as the concept of surplus value.
On the other hand, he says that the 233 passage of “Thoughts”, called “the bet”, written by Pascal, is constituted as a joy economy paper, which could be interpreted from that point of view.
Originating from the interpretation of the concept of surplus value and Pascal´s piece of writing, Lacan formulates certain considerations about the concept of joy plus, which allow him to claim that it is created in “ the essential function of the a object”.
The aim of this paper lies in the study of the concept of surplus value in Marx, and Pascal´s work, to establish their relationship with the concept of joy plus, taking into account, mainly, Lacan´s interpretation in the Seminar called “From an Other to the other”.

SUMMARY
Cuando Lacan introduce la función plus-de-goce recurre a Marx y a Pascal. Parte de la lectura de Marx para señalar que dicha función estará constituida por la misma estofa que el concepto de plusvalía. Y por otro lado, dice que el fragmento 233 de los "Pensamientos" de Pascal llamados "La apuesta” se constituye como un escrito de economía de goce y que puede ser leído desde ese punto de vista. Partiendo de la lectura del concepto de plusvalía y del escrito de Pascal, Lacan formula ciertas consideraciones acerca del concepto de plus-de-gozar que le permiten afirmar que el mismo se constituye en "la función esencial del objeto a".
El objetivo de este trabajo reside en el estudio del concepto de plusvalía en Marx, y el escrito de Pascal para establecer su relación con el concepto plus-de-goce tomando en consideración la lectura que hace Lacan principalmente en el Seminario De un Otro al otro.
