Ortografia En Adultos Letrados

RESUMEN
Se analiza el desempeño de 140 sujetos (oeste del Gran Buenos Aires) que cursan el primer año de carreras universitarias (n = 70) y terciarias de formación docente (n = 70), en ortografía literal y acentual. Una de las tareas propuestas consistió en el dictado de un texto significativo (extensión 257 palabras) en el marco de una tarea académica. Solo el 15 % de los sujetos se ubica entre 0 y 2 errores. El desempeño de los dos grupos de sujetos no presenta diferencias estadísticamente significativas (errores totales: M = 14, SD = 13; t (138) = 0.399 ; p< 0.05). Más del 80% de los errores en ortografía literal que persisten hasta etapas avanzadas corresponden a restricciones ortográficas particulares o morfológicas, alejadas de las reglas generales o la pronunciación, que enfatiza la enseñanza tradicional. En acentuación, donde las reglas son generales, el fracaso en la adecuación a la normativa es mayor.

Orthography In Literate Adults
This paper analyzes the performance in literal and accent orthography of 140 college students (west Gran Buenos Aires), attending either the first year of their college courses (n = 70) or their teacher training college courses (n = 70). One of the studies analyzed in this article consisted of the dictation of a meaningful text (extension: 257 words) in the context of an academic task. Only 15% of the student's performance is placed between 0 and 2 errors. The performance of the two groups of individuals does not present statistically meaningful differences (total errors: M = 14, SD = 13; t (138) = 0.399 ; p< 0.05). More than 80% of the mistakes in literal orthography that persist in advanced stages corresponds to orthographic or morphological restrictions which are not close to the general rules or to the pronunciation that traditional teaching emphasizes. As regards accentuation, which has more general rules, failure to respect the normative is higher.
