Este trabajo procura profundizar en ciertos conceptos metapsicológicos empleados para describir la constitución del aparato psíquico en los trastornos severos del desarrollo y sus transformaciones a partir de la adquisición de la escritura, en el marco de la investigación: “ESCRITURA, COMUNICACIÓN Y ESTRUCTURACIÓN PSÍQUICA EN LOS TRASTORNOS SEVEROS DEL DESARROLLO” (UBACyT P028, programación científica 2004-2007), en particular, en el tema del procesamiento de las cantidades de excitación y la función de los sistemas representacionales. La finalidad es precisar con más nitidez el alcance de los términos empleados. Se resumen, a modo de ejemplificación, dos de los casos atendidos en el curso de la investigación.

This paper tries to go deep into some metapsychological  concepts used to describe the constitution of the psychic apparatus in severe developmental disorders and its transformations starting from the acquisition of writing, as a part of the research: “WRITING, COMMUNICATION AND PSYCHIC STRUCTURATION IN SEVERE DEVELOPMENTAL DISORDERS”, specially in the subjects of processing of excitation quantity and function of the representational systems. The goal is to get more precision in the concepts. As an example, two of the cases studied in this investigation are resumed.
