Subjectivity Construction in Childhood: Characteristics of the Children Reception Contexts of Mass Media Products
This paper presents certain outcomes from a current research Project which aim is to investigate the content, production, circulation and appropriation of the Subjectivity Childhood contained in some mass media products nowadays. The research is carried out with boys and girls aged 8 to 12 years old from elementary school. The methodology involved 3 stages: 1) surveys administrated to parents; 2) interviews held with children; 3) video projection and group debate afterwards. General data obtained from fieldwork is being processed at present time. In this opportunity some results and conclusions are outlined.
