Entre el Riesgo y la Esperanza: Fenomenología de los Juegos de Azar.

Resumen:

Desde el marco de la Psico(pato)logía Fenomenológica, se investiga los juegos de azar, analizando las experiencia vividas, pre-reflexivas de los jugadores. Se utiliza el método fenomenológico para esclarecer el eîdos (esencia) de este apostar. Posteriormente, poniendo entre paréntesis toda etiología, y habiendo aplicado la reducción fenomenológico- trascendental, se describen las mutaciones existenciales propias de los comportamientos ludópatas, y se indaga la condición de posibilidad de estos modos de ser-en-el-mundo.Para ello, se tomarán entrevistas semi-dirigidas a personas adultas diagnosticadas con Adicción al Juego (DSM V), en remisión inicial y remisión continuada, a fin de analizar desde una eidética la categoría de la temporalidad. Luego, desde la fenomenología genético-trascendental se indagará la noción de tiempo como a priori de la constitución de los diversos tipos de mundanidad. Precisamente, el apostar se muestra como una actitud relativa a la condición temporal del hombre, constituyendo un modo de situarse ante el porvenir. En los juegos de azar predomina la incertidumbre y la suerte, el destino se presenta como adversario principal, mientras las decisiones de los jugadores adquieren un rol secundario. Así, se proyectan esperanzas en cambiar mágicamente el futuro y a su vez, de disfrutar del placer del vértigo generado por la incertidumbre.De este modo, se busca un enriquecimiento reciproco entre la teorías filosóficas del juego, la bibliografía contemporánea sobre la temática, los desarrollos fenomenológicos sobre la temporalidad y los datos aportados por la experiencia clínica, buscando una nueva comprensión de los juegos de azar en la sociedad actual.

BETEWEEN RISK AND HOPE: PHENOMENOLOGY OF GAMBLING GAMES

From a phenomenological point of view, current project aims to investigate gambling games, analyzing the vivid, pre- reflexive experience of the players. The phenomenological method is used to clarify the essence of betting in these games. Putting aside any etiology, and having applied the phenomenological-transcendental reduction, the existential mutations are described; afterwards the condition of possibility of these manners of being-in-the-world is investigated. For this purpose, the current investigation will consist of interviews to adult people diagnosed with Pathological Game (DSM V), in initial remission and continued remission, in order to analyze from an eidetic perspective the category of temporality. Subsequent, from a transcendental-phenomenological point of view the notion of time will be investigated as the condition of possibility of the diverse types of existence. Precisely, in the games of gambling the uncertainty and luck prevail, destiny appears as principal adversary, while the decisions of the players acquire a secondary role. Hopes are projected in magically changing the future and the players enjoy the pleasure of the dizziness generated by the uncertainty. Precisely, to bet appears as an attitude relative to the temporary condition of human being, constituting a way of facing the future.Precisely, current investigation aims for a reciprocal enrichment between philosophical theories of game, the contemporary bibliography on the subject matter, phenomenological developments on the temporality and the information contributed by the clinical experience, looking for a new comprehension of the games of chance in the current society.
