Resumen:
Esta investigación se propone indagar el juguete como objeto privilegiado para abordar diversas problemáticas entre el adulto y el niño.

Dada la complejidad de este universo recortamos aquellos objetos fabricados y ofrecidos al niño como juguetes para centrarnos en su dimensión semiótica. Así planteado el objeto de la investigación es el juguete, portador de representaciones socio-simbólicas articuladas con las representaciones que de sus juegos y juguetes tiene el adulto que los ofrece a sus hijos. Con esta finalidad se procedió a administrar a adultos una entrevista dirigida y abierta, orientada a indagar sobre los juegos y juguetes de su infancia y el universo de juegos y juguetes de sus hijos. El análisis de este material nos permite enunciar algunas conclusiones.

Abstract:
THE TOYS AS SEMIOTIC OBJECT.
The aim of this research is to investigate the toy as the main object that enable us to understand different issues within the relationship between the adult and the child.

Because of the complexity of this universe, already made objects given to the child as toys were taken into account and were focused on its semiotic aspect. Therefore the object of this research is the toy, carrier of socio-symbolic representations articulated with the ones that, of their own games and toys, the adults who offer them to their children have. Towards this end, guided and open interviews were conducted with adults, oriented to investigate their childhood games and toys and their children’s universe of games and toys. The analysis of this material allows us to enunciate some conclusions.
