EL INCESTO: DESDE LA PSIQUIATRÍA DEL SIGLO XIX A SIGMUND FREUD Y KARL ABRAHAM. GENEALOGÍA DE UN CONCEPTO, AVATARES DE UNA PROBLEMATIZACIÓN
Este trabajo pretende contribuir a la historia de uno de los elementos centrales de la teoría psicoanalítica de Sigmund Freud: el incesto. Para tal fin, se discriminan cuatro dominios o registros discursivos en los cuales ese objeto de saber fue abordado en el transcurso del siglo XIX. Este escrito analiza en detalle solamente una de esas tradiciones, pues ella sería la que mayor impronta tuvo sobre la teorización freudiana acerca de lo incestuoso. Se trata de las teorías psiquiátricas referidas a la herencia. En efecto, desde el momento en que las corrientes médicas y alienistas pusieron el acento en el factor hereditario, el problema del incesto comenzó a ser considerado con especial atención.
En consonancia con todo ello, el fin de estas páginas es, por una parte, reconstruir el derrotero que el problema del incesto recorrió en la medicina anterior a la enunciación del saber freudiano. Por otra parte, se formula el interrogante acerca de la existencia de rastros de ese pasado en la conformación del concepto de Freud. En apoyo de tal hipótesis, se estudian ciertos trabajos del psicoanalista Karl Abraham, pues en ellos se halla una recuperación de ciertas preocupaciones de la psiquiatría hereditarista.

INCEST: FROM 19TH CENTURY PSYCHIATRY TO SIGMUND FREUD AND KARL ABRAHAM. GENEALOGY OF A CONCEPT, EPISODES OF A PROBLEMATIZATION
This text seeks to make a contribution to the history of one of the psychoanalytic notions: incest. In order to do so, we discriminate four discursive realms which spoke about that object during the 19th century. This paper makes a detailed analyse of only one of those traditions (the psychiatric theories concerning heredity), for it greatly affected the freudian theory about incest. In fact, when doctors started to pay attention to heredity, the incestuous problem started to be studied carefully.
Consequently, the aim of these pages is, first, to describe what happened with incest on medical theories before the psychoanalytic knowledge. Secondly, this text try to search if there are tracks of that past over the freudian concept. In order to support that hypothesis, we analyse some writings of Karl Abraham, since one can discover on his pages a return to the concerns of the hereditary psychiatry.
