CRIMEN, CULPA Y NECESIDAD DE CASTIGO: EL CASO DEL MONJE OTLOH DE SAN EMERAMO (SIGLO XI)
La autobiografía del monje Otloh de San Emeramo (Siglo XI) será el caso de estudio del presente trabajo a partir del cual, desde una lectura psicoanalítica y utilizando el método biográfico, analizamos las situaciones de crisis, angustia y dolor a las que el autor refiere como consecuencia de sus dudas sobre la veracidad de las Sagradas Escrituras y la existencia de Dios. A diferencia de los psicoanalistas del siglo XIX, que tradujeron al monje emeramiense para concluir con un determinado diagnóstico psicopatológico, intentaremos, en un primer acercamiento, relacionar la triología: “crimen”, culpa y necesidad de castigo con los orígenes de la religión, los grados de severidad del superyó, sus efectos en los vínculos que el sujeto establece con el Otro (en sus distintas encarnaduras), con los otros semejantes y consigo mismo. Para, finalmente, analizar las implicancias de esta dinámica en la construcción de la moralidad y en los modos de posicionarse subjetivamente en relación al caso de estudio.
CRIME, GUILT AND NEED FOR PUNISHMENT: THE CASE OF THE MONK OTLOH OF ST. EMERAMO (11TH CENTURY)
The autobiography of the monk Otloh of St. Emeramo (11th century) will be the case study of this work from which, from a psychoanalytic reading, and using the biographical method, analyze crisis situations, anguish and pain to which the author refers as a consequence of their doubts about the veracity of the Holy Scriptures and the existence of God. Unlike psychoanalysts of the 19th century, who translated the emeramiense monk to conclude with a certain psychopathological diagnosis, will try, in a first approach, linking the trilogy: \"crime\", guilt and need for punishment with the origins of religion, the degree of severity of the superego, its effects on the links the subject establishes with each other (in their different encarnaduras) the other similar ones and with himself. To, finally, analyze the implications of this dynamic in the construction of morality and modes of subjectively position itself in relation to the case study.
