Resumen:
MODELOS TEÓRICOS Y PRÁCTICA CLÍNICA EN LA ARGENTINA: PSICOTERAPIA EN LAS PROVINCIAS DE SANTA FE, BUENOS AIRES Y CHUBUT.
Éste trabajo indaga acerca de la relación entre marcos teóricos y práctica clínica en las provincias de Santa Fé, Buenos Aires y Chubut. Un total de 250 psicoterapeutas fueron encuestados en las ciudades de Rosario, Olavarria, Bahía Blanca, Rawson, Trelew, Comodoro Rivadavia y en Puerto Madryn. El 51,6% de los psicoterapeutas eligió como marco teórico para su práctica clínica la teoría psicoanalítica. El 40,8% reportó integrar distintas teorías, conformando el segundo grupo en importancia. Dentro del grupo de psicoterapeutas que integran teorías, el psicoanálisis fue mencionado por el 62% como la teoría base o principal, seguida por la teoría cognitiva con el 14,6%. Estos resultados dan cuenta de la importancia del psicoanálisis y la tendencia a la integración en la práctica psicoterapéutica en Argentina.

Abstract:
THEORETICAL ORIENTATION AND CLINICAL PRACTICE IN ARGENTINA: PSYCHOTHERAPY IN THE PROVINCES OF SANTA FE, BUENOS AIRES Y CHUBUT.
This paper focuses on the relationship between theoretical orientation and clinical practice in the provinces of Santa Fe, Buenos Aires y Chubut. A total of 250 psychotherapists have been surveyed in the cities of Rosario, Olavarria, Bahía Blanca, Rawson, Trelew, Comodoro Rivadavia and Puerto Madryn. Psychoanalysis was chosen by 51.6% of the psychotherapists as the main theory used in their clinical practice. The second largest group –representing 40.8% of the sample- reported integrating different theories. Within the group integrating different theories psychoanalysis was mentioned by 62% as the base or main theory, followed by the cognitive theory with 14.6%. These results show the importance of psychoanalysis and the tendency towards integration within the clinical practice in Argentina.
