This paper calls into question the possibility of establishing a precise boundary between the notions of subjectivity and psychic apparatus, and concludes that the border between the two should be seen more as a large area of transformation, in which no simple oppositions can be conceived. For this purpose it explores the idea of subjectivity in the production of some psychoanalytic authors, points out the reference to social implicit in such formulation and puts it in relation to the process of constitution of the psychic apparatus, as it is proposed mainly in the Freudian work. The concept of identification appears as an articulating key between both dimensions. It arises that the psychic organization of the beginnings of the apparatus already includes both universal aspects (permanent in the psychic constitution) and others that depend on the historical peculiarities.

El presente trabajo cuestiona la posibilidad de establecer un límite preciso entre las nociones de subjetividad y aparato psíquico, y concluye que la frontera entre ambas debe considerarse más bien como una amplia zona de transformación, en la que no pueden concebirse oposiciones simples. Explora con ese fin la idea de subjetividad presente en la producción de algunos autores psicoanalíticos, retoma la referencia a lo social implícita en tal formulación y la pone en relación con el proceso de constitución del aparato psíquico, tal como se propone fundamentalmente en la obra freudiana. El concepto de identificación aparece como un articulador clave entre ambas dimensiones. Se plantea que la organización psíquica de los inicios del aparato incluye ya tanto aspectos universales (permanentes en la constitución psíquica) como otros que dependen de las particularidades históricas.
