El presente proyecto resulta del reconocimiento de problemas surgidos en el proyecto anterior (2008-10) dedicado a las relaciones de la identificación con la histeria, en el cual se verificó las complejidad y oscuridades del concepto lacaniano de identificación. A raíz de este obstáculo, quedó inconclusa una de las tareas propuestas en ese proyecto: la exploración, delimitación y seriación de las transformaciones de ese concepto y de las variedades de identificación que Lacan introduce a lo largo de su obra. Habiendo llevado a cabo esta tarea hasta la época que incluye el Seminario 9 La identificación , el proyecto actual se propone continuarla en el período siguiente (1962-71), es decir, incluyendo el momento del Seminario 16 De un Otro al otro , en el que culmina la elaboración de Lacan del objeto a. En este período Lacan relaciona estrechamente la operación de la identificación con la constitución del sujeto y la opone, en diversos registros, incluido el de la clínica, a la del develamiento del objeto. Si resultara posible, el proyecto intentará avanzar sobre el período siguiente o, por lo menos, delimitar las cuestiones y problemáticas que condujeron a Lacan a dejar de lado esta constelación conceptual en el último período de su obra.

The concept of identification in Jacques Lacan´s work: its transformations and forms; its relationships with the (a) object in the subject constitution.
The present project is a result of the recognition of certain drawbacks emerged in the previous one (2008/2010), which was devoted to the relationships between identification and hysteria, in which the complexity and obscurity of the lacanian concept of identification was verified. As a consequence of this obstacle, one of the proposed tasks in this project was left unfinished: the exploration, delimitation and serialization of the transformations of that concept and the variations of identification that Lacan introduces throughout his work. Having fulfilled this task until the time that includes the IX Seminar, The identification , it is the aim of the current project to continue the research in the following period, including the XVI Seminar, From an Other to the other , which culminates with Lacan´s elaboration of the a object. At this stage, Lacan closely relates the identification operation with the subject constitution and he opposes it, in diverse registers, considering the clinical one, to the uncovering of the object. If it were possible, the project would make an attempt to go foward over the following period or, at least, to delimit the issues or problems that led Lacan to leave aside this conceptual constellation in the last period of his work.
