El presente proyecto se propone investigar la relación entre el uso de determinados sistemas de significados (académicos o informales) y la consistencia de los argumentos individuales en las enunciaciones de los participantes de los foros virtuales que acompañan la cursada de la materia Psicología General (cátedra II) de Licenciatura en Psicología de la UBA. La consistencia de un argumento individual se construye a partir de que el mismo sea aceptable, que el razonamiento subyacente a éste sea válido y que el esquema argumentativo presente sea utilizado. Se espera que haya mayor presencia de argumentos consistentes cuando se utilicen sistemas de significados académicos. Para poner a prueba la hipótesis 1) se identificará a qué sistemas de significados pertenecen las enunciaciones argumentativas publicadas por los participantes del foro mencionado, 2) se evaluará la consistencia de las enunciaciones argumentativas y 3) se correlacionará la consistencia de los argumentos presentes en las enunciaciones con los tipos de sistemas de significados utilizados en los mismos. Para el análisis de la información se utilizará el siguiente plan de categorías: 1) Consistencia global: a) Lógica y b) Pragmática. 2) Consistencia de argumentos individuales: a) Aceptabilidad, b) Validez y c) Esquema argumentativo.

ARGUMENTATIVE SKILLS EVALUATION IN VIRTUAL FORUMS: RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE CONSISTENCY OF ARGUMENTS AND MEANING SYSTEMS

This project aims to investigate the relationship between the use of certain types of meaning systems (academic or informal) and the consistency of individual arguments in the enunciations of the participants of the online forums that accompany the course of General Psychology (Chair II) Degree in Psychology from the UBA. The consistency of an individual argument is built from it being acceptable, from the underlying reasoning being valid and from the argument scheme being used. It is expected that there is more presence of consistent arguments when academic meaning systems are used. To test the hypothesis: 1) will be identified which meanings systems are used, 2) will be evaluated the consistency of the argument enunciations and 3) will be correlationated the consistency of the arguments with the types of meanings systems used. FOR data analysis the following categories plan are used: 1) Global Consistency: a) Logic and b) Pragmatics. 2) Consistency of individual arguments: a) Acceptability, b) Validity c) argumentative scheme.
