Abstract:
In this paper we pretend to research therapist’s psychic activity during session, through the study of his interventions. We use an instrument, David Liberman Algorithm, that tries to study the speech from a psychoanalytic perspective. This instrument has three levels of analysis: word, phrase and narrative sequence. We pay attention first to the verbal manifestations of the patient, and, after that, we research links between both members of the therapeutic relationship. Material studied is a psychotherapy session, specially a long textual fragment. After explaining the method, and applying it on the study of the patient, we focus in the therapist’s speech, that is studied with quanti-cualitative criteria. We consider the tree of his decisions and we ask ourselves about the effectiveness of his interventions.
