Los estilos de liderazgo en los nuevos movimientos sociales: un estudio comparativo

RESUMEN

Este artículo presenta resultados de la investigación “Modalidades de liderazgo en los Nuevos Movimientos Sociales que resisten la exclusión en Argentina: tensiones entre las reivindicaciones y la política”, de la Programación Científica UBACyT 2018-2020. Atendiendo al primero de los objetivos generales, que propone analizar las modalidades de liderazgo en los Nuevos Movimientos Sociales, esta comunicación describe y compara las características más salientes de los líderes y los modos de peticionar ante las autoridades en los tres casos en estudio: el Movimiento Nacional de Empresas Recuperadas, la Cooperativa de Trabajo El Corre Camino y las Organizaciones Libres del Pueblo. Si bien se encontraron entre ellos más diferencias que similitudes, se plantea que, más allá de aquellas, una actitud los iguala: los líderes de los nuevos movimientos sociales “ponen el cuerpo”, resisten la exclusión y trabajan incansablemente para subsistir en un mundo que les resulta hostil y expulsivo.

ABSTRACT

Leadership styles in new social movements: a comparative study

This article presents the results of the research "Modalities of leadership in the New Social Movements that resist exclusion in Argentina: tensions between reclamations and politics", of the Scientific Programming UBACyT 2018-2020. In accordance with the first of the general objectives, which proposes to explore and describe the leadership modalities in the New Social Movements that resist exclusion in Argentina, this communication describes and compares the most relevant characteristics of the leaders and the ways to petition the authorities in the three cases under study: the National Movement of Recovered Companies, El Corre Camino Work Cooperative and the People´s Free Organizations. While there were more differences than similarities among them, it is suggested that, beyond the similarities, one attitude equals them: the leaders of the new social movements "put their bodies into it," resist exclusion, and work tirelessly to survive in a world that is hostile and expulsive to them.
