Percepción del Trabajo Decente y su Relación con la Construcción de Anticipaciones de Futuro en Trabajadores: Un estudio Internacional Comparativo.

En el marco de continuas transformaciones científico-tecnológicas, económicas, políticas, sociales y culturales queatraviesan las sociedades globalizadas del Siglo XXI, se advierte el efecto negativo que los sistemas laborales y lascondiciones materiales de los trabajos tienen sobre las personas. Organismos internacionales ?UNESCO, OIT? seocuparon de visibilizar esta problemática, estableciendo objetivos y agendas específicas orientadas al mejoramientode esa realidad con la meta aspiracional que todo trabajo cumpla las condiciones de Trabajo Decente. El grupo detrabajo UNESCO-Cátedra Lifelong Guidance and Counseling, del que el grupo de investigación es miembro del ComitéDirectivo, sostiene que la finalidad de las intervenciones en orientación es preparar a las personas para contribuir allogro de sus objetivos, y sensibilizar a la comunidad, las organizaciones e instituciones para su cumplimiento. Enfoques actuales de la Psicología de la Orientación afirman que la forma en que las personas significan sus experiencias detrabajo impacta en el desarrollo de sus trayectorias de vida, su construcción identitiaria, sus inserciones ocupacionalesy sus anticipaciones de futuro. El proyecto se enmarca en dos estudios internacionales que abordan la relación entrelas personas y el trabajo: uno, es un estudio cuantitativo que pone el foco en cómo se conceptualiza y comprendeel trabajo decente en diferentes países; otro es un estudio cualitativo centrado en comprender la manera en quejóvenes trabajadores en situación de vulnerabilidad social perciben su trabajo, anticipan su futuro e interpretan sussituaciones de precariedad laboral, buscando diferencias contextuales referidas a las condiciones de trabajo decente.Nos preguntarnos ¿Cómo significan ellos sus trabajos? ¿Cómo impactan en su subjetividad sus situaciones de trabajo yde desempleo? ¿Qué lugar tienen estos trabajos dentro de sus trayectorias de vida? ¿Qué representaciones de trabajodecente tienen? ¿Cómo se relacionan con sus anticipaciones de futuro? Se trata de un estudio empírico, exploratorioy descriptivo, de corte transversal. Se utilizará enfoque cuantitativo y cualitativo. Nos planteamos generar nuevosconocimientos, que se compararán con los obtenidos en otros países y utilizados para generar acciones que mejoren lascondiciones para el acceso al trabajo decente y para diseñar intervenciones que favorezcan las inserciones decentes ycontribuyan a la construcción de vidas más valoradas

DECENT WORK CONCEPTIONS AND ITS RELATION WITH THE CONSTRUCTION OF FUTURE ANTICIPATIONS IN WORKERS: AN INTERNATIONALCOMPARATIVE RESEARCH.

In the context of continuous and growing technological, economic, political, social and cultural transformations of21st century globalized societies, it is possible to note the negative effect that labor systems and material conditionsof the work have on people. International organizations - UNESCO, ILO - have highlighted this problem, settingspecific objectives and agendas that aim to improve this reality with the aspirational goal of transforming all workinto "Decent Work". The UNESCO working group "Lifelong Guidance and Counseling", which our research team ispart of, as a member of the Steering Committee since 2013, argues that the purpose of career and life interventionsshould be to prepare people to contribute to the achievement of the stated intentions, and to sensitize the community,organizations and institutions for their fulfillment. Current approaches to career and life interventions, assert that theway in which people mean their work experiences has a strong impact on the development of their life trajectories,identity construction, occupational insertions and anticipations.This project is framed in two international studiesthat address the link between people and work: one is a quantitative study that focuses on how decent work isconceptualized and understood in different countries; the other is a qualitative study that focuses on understanding theway in which young workers, in situations of social vulnerability, perceive their work, anticipate their future and interprettheir situations of precarious work, looking for contextual differences related to decent working conditions. In thisrespect our questions are: How do they mean these works? How do their work and unemployment situations impact ontheir subjectivity? What is the place that these works have in their life trajectories? What decent work representations dothey have? How do these relate to the anticipations of their future?It is an empirical, exploratory and descriptive cross-sectional study. In line with the two international investigations on which it is based, both quantitative and qualitativeapproaches will be used.We intend to generate new knowledge that will be contrasted with those obtained in othercountries and will be used to generate actions to improve the conditions for access to decent work and to designinterventions in career and life interventions that favor decent insertions and contribute to the construction of mostvalued lives.
