niños/as, reconfigurando la dinámica familiar.

Exploration of parental experiences during the pandemic and Relationship
between maternal and paternal Dyadic Emotional Availability, playful interactive
modalities, symbolization in the child and Parental Reflective Functioning
Emotional Availability is defined by Robert Emde (1980) as a person's emotional
responsiveness and attunement to the needs and goals of another, accepting and
responding to a wide range of emotions and not only to emotional distress or
discomfort, and is a variable that has been shown to be fruitful in numerous
recent research on parenting skills (Biringen et al., 2014). Currently, changes
are occurring in parenting responsibilities between fathers and mothers, especially
during the confinements due to the COVID 19 pandemic. This doctoral proposal,
seeks to deepen the investigation of Emotional Availability applied to the study
of mother-child and father-child dyadic interactions at school age and link
it with variables such as Parental Reflective Functioning and playful interactive
modalities already studied previously (Schejtman et al., 2014; Duhalde et al.,
2020). Likewise, based on the analysis of the discourse of the interviewees,
the way in which the pandemic has impacted the dyadic bonding modalities of
caregivers with children, reconfiguring family dynamics, will be explored. The
intertwining of both perspectives would constitute a contribution to the implementation
of clinical and educational interventions of a preventive nature.
