RESUMEN


Palabras clave: For different reasons, Freud’s work “Analysis terminable and interminable” had an oblique reading. The orientation of this reading, in one way or another, placed the terms of the terminabilty in opposition.

However, Freud is forceful: The analysis is terminable, not without remains, called precisely symptomatic remains.

When he speaks in terms of interminability, he in fact refers to the formation of the analysts, since the practice produces some effects that differ from the symptomatic remains, still being true that they stand in relation to them.

SUMMARY
Por diferentes razones, el texto de Freud “Análisis terminable e interminable”, tuvo una lectura sesgada. La orientación de esa lectura, de un modo u otro, ubicó los términos de la terminabilidad en oposición.

Sin embrago, Freud es contundente: El análisis es terminable, no sin restos, llamados precisamente restos sintomáticos.

Cuando se refiere a la interminabilidad, lo hace para referirse a la formación de los analistas, ya que el ejercicio de la práctica produce unos efectos que difieren de los restos sintomáticos, aún siendo cierto que guardan relación con ellos.
