RESUMEN


Palabras clave: The following paper inscribes in the high tradition of the essays of the XVII and XVIII centuries concerning the origin of human condition. Freud’s fourth work of his book “Totem and taboo”, which is here discussed as a piece that on the one hand honours that tradition, on the other hand subverts it from the scientific developements after its annihilation by Hume and Hegel (passing very specially through Darwin up to the psychoanalytic theory itself). According to the thesis I propose, Psycoanalysis finally meets Contractualism where its theorical corpus, in spite of its different and innovating implements, can not give an answer beyond the silent point of its predecessors.

SUMMARY
El texto siguiente inscribe en la alta tradición de los ensayos de los siglos XVII y XVIII sobre el origen de la condición humana, el cuarto trabajo de Freud incluido en su libro Totem y tabú, al cual se trata como una pieza que honra por una parte aquella tradición, y por otra la subvierte desde los desarrollos científicos ulteriores a su aniquilamiento a manos de Hume y Hegel (pasando muy especialmente por Darwin hasta llegar a la propia teoría psicoanalítica). De acuerdo con el desarrollo que propongo, el Psicoanálisis finalmente se reencuentra con aquella, allí donde no puede, aun con sus diversos e innovadores implementos, llevar su respuesta más allá del punto en el que hacía silencio la de esos sus antecesores.
