Resumen:
DISTRIBUCIÓN DE FRECUENCIAS DE LOS DESEOS EN LOS RELATOS DE LOS PACIENTES EN PSICOTERAPIA.
El objetivo de este trabajo es presentar y discutir la distribución de frecuencias de los deseos en los relatos de los pacientes en psicoterapia. La muestra está compuesta por la transcripción de120 discursos de pacientes en sesiones de psicoterapia. El instrumento empleado para la detección de los deseos es el algoritmo David Liberman, y más específicamente la herramienta para estudiar los relatos (ADL-R). El procedimiento consistió en el estudio de las secuencias narrativas de los pacientes, cada una de las cuales constituida por una o varias escenas. En cada secuencia narrativa los integrantes del equipo estudiaron el deseo dominante (de cierre) y los complementarios (correspondientes a las escenas que anteceden al cierre). Fue posible entonces establecer tres distribuciones de frecuencias: de los deseos dominantes, de los deseos no dominantes y del total de los deseos, que incluyen a los dominantes y los no dominantes. En la discusión ulterior los autores consideran las limitaciones de este nuevo instrumento, así como su utilidad, en particular para las comparaciones entre grupos de pacientes, entre sesiones del mismo paciente y entre los resultados de los análisis en diferentes niveles (palabras, actos de habla, relatos) de un mismo discurso. Igualmente, los autores proponen que alguna de las tablas resulta más indicada para realizar comparaciones entre resultados. Por ejemplo, la tabla que considera deseos dominantes es más apta para la comparación con los resultados de un estudio cualitativo de los relatos con el ADL-R, y la tabla que considera los deseos totales es más apta para la comparación con los resultados de un estudio cuantitativo con el programa computarizado que estudia los deseos en las palabras (ADL-P).

Abstract:
FREQUENCY DISTRIBUTION OF   WISHES IN THE NARRATIONS OF PATIENTS IN PSYCHOTHERAPY.
The aim of this paper is to present and discuss the frequency distribution of wishes in the stories of patients in psychotherapy. The sample is composed of transcription of 120 patients during the sessions of psychotherapy. The instrument used for the detection of wishes is the David Liberman algorithm, and more specifically the tool to study the stories (DLA-N).The method consists in studying patient narrative sequences, each of which comprises by one or more scenes. In each narrative sequence the team studied the dominant wish (closing the episode) and the complementary ones (corresponding to the scenes that are the antecedents of the closingmoment). It was then possible to establish three frequency distributions: the dominant wish, the non-dominant wish andandall the wishes, including the dominant and non-dominant. In the subsequent discussion the authors consider the limitations of this new instrument as well as its usefulness, particularly for comparisons between groups of patients, between sessions of the same patient and between the results of the analysis at different levels (words, speech acts, stories) of the same speech. Besides, the authors propose that one of the tables is more suitable for making comparisons between results. For example, the table of dominant wishes is best suited for comparison with the results of a qualitative study with the DLA-N, and the table of total wishes is more suitable for comparison with the results of a quantitative study with the computer program that studies the wishes in words (DLA-W).
