About the writing of clinical cases in the academic discourse.

RESUMEN

Palabras clave: In this article we intend to study the way in which postgraduate students incorporate clinical cases of their own in their academic theses. In this way, we are interested in considering how master or doctoral candidates solve the difficulty that arises when transmitting the psychoanalytic experience. Two theses produced in the frame of the Master in Psychoanalysis of the Faculty of Psychology of the University of Buenos Aires and two doctoral theses elaborated in the same faculty between 2006 and 2008 integrate the corpus that is analyzed. In order to develop this, we specify, in the first place, the obstacles that Freud finds in the publication of his clinical cases, following the metadiscoursives comments that he makes at the moment of writing. Then, we examine the use of narration in the transmission of the clinic. Finally, we analyze the clinical material that appears in the four mentioned theses, taking into account their incorporation inside these theses, the use of narration and of what we call operations of authentication, and, finally, their connection with what we might name the fragmentary writing.

SUMMARY
En este artículo nos proponemos abordar el modo en que los tesistas incorporan viñetas o casos clínicos propios dentro de tesis universitarias. En este sentido, nos interesa reflexionar sobre la manera en que los tesistas resuelven la dificultad que surge al dar cuenta de la experiencia psicoanalítica. El corpus a analizar esta conformado por dos tesis producidas en el marco de la Maestría en Psicoanálisis de la Facultad de Psicología de la Universidad de Buenos Aires y dos tesis de doctorado de la misma facultad realizadas entre el 2006 y el 2008. Para ello, precisamos, en primer lugar, los obstáculos que Freud encuentra en la publicación de los casos clínicos, siguiendo los comentarios metadiscursivos que él mismo realiza al momento de la escritura. Luego, reflexionamos sobre el uso del relato en la transmisión de la clínica. Por último, analizamos el material clínico presente en las cuatro tesis mencionadas, tomando en cuenta su modo inclusión dentro de estas tesis, el empleo de la narración y de lo que llamamos operaciones de autentificación, y, finalmente, su relación con lo que podríamos denominar la escritura fragmentaria.
