RESUMEN


Palabras clave: In the field of our practice we find children whose suffering can`t be thought within the frame of what we consider as classical structures. These children, whom we could refer to as patients with a “difficult diagnosis”, display a situation that compel us to think about the complexity found in the clinical work. This paper is about excerpts from a psychoanalytic treatment with a severely disturbed child who until the moment of the consultation had been diagnosed as ADHD. Questioning the diagnosis of ADD/ADHD does not mean denyin the existence of attention difficulties in several children. Nevertheless, under the same diagnosis it is attempted to include different psychic functioning disregarding the multiple causes involved in problems concerning attention and hyperactivity.

SUMMARY
En el espacio del consultorio nos encontramos con niños cuyos padecimientos no entran dentro de lo que conocemos como las estructuras clásicas, niños a los que podríamos llamar de difícil diagnóstico cuyos cuadros nos comprometen a reflexionar acerca de las complejidades que la clínica presenta. El presente trabajo es acerca de fragmentos de tratamiento psicoanalítico con un niño gravemente perturbado, que al momento de la consulta venía diagnosticado como ADHD. Cuestionar el diagnóstico de ADD/ADHD no significa negar la existencia en muchos niños de dificultades en el sostenimiento de la atención, sin embargo bajo un mismo nombre se pretende englobar modos de funcionamiento psíquico diferentes negando la multiplicidad de causas que intervienen en los problemas de la atención y la hiperactividad.
