The structure of the Versagung and the sense of the symptom formation mechanisms. A phenomenological approach to the relations drive-self.

RESUMEN
En “Nuevos caminos de la terapia psicoanalítica” (1919a), Freud señala que la cura debe desarrollarse en un estado de abstinencia. Con ello, se refiere a que el analista debe frustrar al paciente, es decir, denegarle las satisfacciones sustitutivas que fundamentan sus síntomas y por las que, en definitiva, se mantiene la neurosis.
Llamativamente, esta indicación para el analista guarda una relación de homología respecto de aquello a raíz de lo cual se produce el desencadenamiento neurótico: una frustración (Versagung) de la satisfacción. Es precisamente en virtud de esta homología que Freud fundamenta que el analista no deba adoptar el llamado furor curandis. Deja ello entrever, pues, que la neurosis implica una modalidad de satisfacción distinta de aquella que la Versagung promueve en el horizonte de la cura.
Recuperando tal dimensión, este trabajo busca realizar una contribución al análisis del valor estructural y posibilitador de nuevas posibilidades de satisfacción implicado por la Versagung. Siendo tal nuestro objetivo, nos valdremos asimismo de una serie de correlaciones entre el yo, la pulsión (y sus modalidades de satisfacción) y la vivencia del fenómeno del mundo (para cuyo análisis nos valdremos de ciertos planteos de Merleau-Ponty sobre las nociones de mundo y de existencia). Dichos ejes nos permitirán esclarecer el valor estructural de la Versagung en la cura, la cual daría cuenta en el dispositivo analítico de aquella posición del analista por la que, al no proveerse ulteriores satisfacciones sustitutivas, se propicia en cambio un pulsionar hacia la curación, motorizando esta última.

SUMMARY
In “New paths of the analytic therapy” (1919a), Freud points that the psychoanalytic cure must be developed in a state of abstinence. By doing so, he means that the analyst must frustrate the patient, this is, deny him the substitutive satisfactions which base his symptoms and due to which neurosis is maintained. As a matter of fact, this indication for the analyst presents a relation of homology regarding the root which produced the neurotic outbreak: a frustration (Versagung) of satisfaction. It is precisely by virtue of such homology that Freud points that the analyst must not adopt the so called furor curandis (healing furor). This allows to notice, thus, that neuroses implies a modality of drive satisfaction different from that which the Versagung promotes in the horizon of the cure.
Recovering that dimension, this work tries to make a contribution to the analysis of the structural value – creator of new possibilities of satisfaction – implied by the Versagung. Being such our objective, we will make use, in addition, of a series of correlations between self, drive (and its modalities of satisfaction) and the experience (Erlebnis) of the phenomenon of the world (for whose analysis we will appeal to certain developments made by Merleau-Ponty on the notions of world and existence). Such axis will enable us to elucidate the Versagung’s structural value in the cure, which would give an account in the psychoanalytic setting of that position of the analyst by the means of which, due to not providing any further substitutive drive satisfactions, a driving towards cure is instead fostered.
