La formalización de la segunda tópica constituye la respuesta freudiana ante dimensiones de la clínica frente a las cuales la primera tópica resulta insuficiente. Dicha formalización, al permitir conceptualizar y abordar fenómenos clínicos que no tienen inscripción en la primera tópica, implica una redefinición de la clínica y conlleva una ampliación del campo del análisis. La formulación de la segunda tópica posibilitará recuperar e inscribir fenómenos clínicos tales como la angustia, lo traumático, la melancolía, la compulsión de repetición, la reacción terapéutica negativa, las neurosis graves, el sentimiento inconciente de culpa, y al mismo tiempo, recortar y abordar nuevos fenómenos tales como el suicido y los rasgos de carácter, entre otros. A la vez, la teorización de la segunda tópica permitirá reformular los ordenamientos nosográficos freudianos previos delimitados a partir de oposiciones binarias- al introducir un tercer grupo, y de este modo recortar un campo que sin involucrar las psicosis- se ubica más allá de las neurosis de transferencia. Consideramos que estas teorizaciones implican modificaciones relevantes en el campo de la práctica analítica y en la dirección de la cura. Desde esta perspectiva nos proponemos identificar e indagar los fenómenos clínicos que pueden ser inscriptos y abordados a partir de la segunda tópica y precisar, en tanto efecto de su formalización, la redefinición de la clínica y la ampliación del campo del análisis.

The formalization of the second topic constitutes the Freudian response before dimensions of the clinic opposite to which the first topic turns out to be insufficient. The above mentioned formalization, on having allowed to conceptualize and to approach clinical phenomena that do not have inscription in the first topic, implies a redefinition of the clinic and carries an extension of the field of the analysis. The formulation of the second topic will make possible to recover and to inscribe such clinical phenomena as the distress, traumatic, melancholy, compulsion of repetition, therapeutic negative reaction, serious neurosis, feeling unconscious of fault, and at the same time, to cut away and to approach new phenomena like the suicide and the features of character, between others. Simultaneously, the theorization of the second topic will allow to reformulate the previous nosografic Freudian classifications -delimited from binary oppositions- on having introduced the third group, and thus to cut away a field that -without involving the psychosesgoes beyond the neurosis of transference. We think that these teorizations involve relevant modifications in the field of the analytical practice and in the direction of the practice. From this perspective we propose to identify and to investigate the clinical phenomena that can be new recruits and approached from the second topic and to be necessary, while effect of this formalization, the redefinition of the clinic and the extension of the field of the analysis.
