Esta investigación focaliza en el estudio de proceso y resultados terapéuticos con adolescentes tempranos de 13 a 15 años de ambos sexos, con conductas perturbadoras (Trastorno Negativista Desafiante y Trastorno Disocial) que carecen de la capacidad de funcionamiento mental reflexivo. Esta capacidad permite percibir al sujeto que tanto uno mismo como el otro tienen pensamientos, sentimientos, creencias y deseos que les son propios, otorgan sentido a la experiencia interpersonal y atribuyen significación y anticipación a las acciones propias y de los otros. Por otra parte, estos pacientes se caracterizan por desconexión afectiva y cognitiva y conductas amenazantes de odio y descalificación del otro combinadas con estados de vacío mental y desvitalización. Estas características hacen difícil el abordaje terapéutico de esta población.

Este estudio de proceso y resultados terapéuticos se realizará mediante un abordaje de psicoterapia grupal focalizada-GTF de corto plazo. Esta psicoterapia grupal focalizada consiste en un dispositivo de diez sesiones grupales que incluyen dos sesiones multifamiliares (al principio y al final del mismo, siete sesiones grupales con los adolescentes y los padres por separado, y una familiar individual de evaluación y derivación definitva). Se comparará la eficacia de este dispositivo con y sin la inclusión de un Grupo de Encuadre Vincular y Representacional previo-GEVR. El diseño pre-post test se usará para el análisis cuantitativo. El Análisis de Texto computarizado junto con el Sistema de Evaluación del Trabajo Psicodinámico y de Relaciones Objetales se usará para el análisis de proceso.

Title: Process and Result Analysis of Short-Term Focused Group Therapy for Early Adolescents with Disruptive Behavior (Oppositional Defiant Disorder and Conduct Disorder)

This project focuses on the therapeutic process and outcome study with early adolescents aged 13-15, of both sexes, with disruptive behavior (Oppositional Defiant Disorder and Conduct Disorder), who lack the capacity of mental reflective functioning. This capacity makes the person perceive that both oneself and the other have their own thoughts, feelings, beliefs and wishes, which make the interpersonal experience have sense and give meaning and anticipation to one’s own and the other’s actions. Besides, some common features in these patients are the affective and the cognitive disconnection, and the threatening behavior and the underestimate of the other combined with states of mental emptiness and lack of vital energy. These features make the therapeutic approach in this population difficult.
This therapeutic process and outcome study will be carried out by means of a short-term focused group psychotherapy approach- FGT. This focused group psychotherapy consists of a set of ten group sessions, which include two multifamily sessions (at the beginning and at the end of the set), seven group sessions with the adolescents and their parents separately and one individual family session for assessment and a definite referral. Its efficacy with and without the inclusion of a previous Bond and Representation Framework Group- BRFG will be compared. The pre-post test design will be used for the quantitative analysis. The computarized Text Analysis together with the Psychodynamic Work and Object Rating System will be used for the process analysis.
