Bioética Narrativa y Derechos Humanos: Un Acceso a la Complejidad a Través de Ficciones Clínicas.

Resumen en español:

A partir de la Declaración Universal UNESCO 2005 se formalizó la la íntima relación que existe entre los conceptos de Etica y Derechos Humanos. El presente proyecto indaga esa articulación en un escenario específico: las nuevas cuestiones dilemáticas de la práctica en salud y salud mental en particular. El enfoque radica en abordar las situaciones a través de ficciones cinematográficas y narrativas, suplementando así al caso real y permitiendo el acceso a la complejidad que de él emana. El proyecto consta de tres etapas. En la primera, se actualizan los últimos materiales en el tema, realizando traducciones y adaptaciones al español de las dos herramientas específicas más importantes (APA Ethical Code, 2003; REST (Racial Ethical Sensitivity Test), 2002, como así también de otros materiales recientes. En la segunda, se realiza un trabajo de relevamiento de ficciones cinematográficas utilizadas por profesioales de la salud, a partir de entrevistas a especialistas del área. En la tercera parte, se sistematiza la información relevada en las dos primeras, desarrollando un recurso multimedial para el tratamiento y transferencia de los resultados, integrando conceptualmente las dos primeras partes.

Narrative Bioethics and Human Rights: An approach to complexity through clinical fictions

The Universal Declaration of Bioethics and Human Rights (UNESCO, 2005) and others related to Psychology (Gauthier, 2008) have confirmed the intimate bond between the notions of Ethics and Human Rights, apply to concrete sceneries in Mental Health practice. This project aims at studying that articulation as it appears on a specific scenario: the new dilemmatic issues of the health practice. Following the study methodology of several cases presented in the Racial Ethical Sensitivity Test (Brabeck et al, 2000) which revel critic situations involved in study cases, audiovisual material and other references available in the bibliography of different subjects and practices of Psychology at the University of Buenos Aires, and also contain in the experience of the bioethical committee. These references were chosen following the most relevant issues of the UNESCO Declaration (Consent, Benefit and Harm, Privacy and Confidentiality, Nondiscrimination and Nonstigmatization, Protecting future generations, among others) the ones which represent a special interest for the Psychology. Being the ethic a transversal discipline, we believe that this search will contribute to a major understanding between the grade performance and a more integrated development of the different areas and existing conceptual frames in professional practice.
