El presente plan de trabajo se enmarca dentro del Proyecto de Investigación UBACyT? La sublimación y sus vicisitudes?, dirigido por el Profesor Horacio Alberto Manfredi. El objetivo de esta propuesta es indagar la construcción del concepto de sublimación en la obra de Freud, señalando las diversas modificaciones que ha tenido, a partir del desarrollo de distintos operadores conceptuales que se articulan a él. El término sublimación, formulado en los albores de la obra freudiana, constituye un concepto complejo que, frente a la ausencia de una teorización rigurosa, ha dado lugar a múltiples interpretaciones, delimitando su noción al campo del quehacer artístico e intelectual. Sin embargo, a partir de 1914 en Introducción del Narcisismo, Freud enunciará explícitamente la diferenciación entre el concepto de Ideal y sublimación, anticipando el estatuto conceptual que este último adquirirá un año después, en Pulsiones y destinos de pulsión, al ser formalizado como uno de los cuatro destinos pulsionales. El presente trabajo investigará el desarrollo teórico que realiza Freud, desde los comienzos de su producción teórica, en donde circunscribía el término sublimación únicamente al campo de los ideales éticos y estéticos, hasta su formulación como estructurante de la pulsión.

THE CONCEPT OF SUBLIMATION IN FREUD´S WORK: FROM THE IDEAL CONCEPT TO DRIVE CONCEPT

This work plan is part of UBACyT´s Research Project "Sublimation and its vicissitudes," directed by Professor Horacio Alberto Manfredi. The objective of this proposal is to investigate the construction of the concept sublimation in Freud's work, noting the various changes that it has undergone, from the development of different conceptual operators that articulate it. The term sublimation, formulated at the beginning of Freud's work, is a complex concept that, given the absence of a rigorous theorizing, has led to multiple interpretations, delimiting his notion to the field of artistic and intellectual. However, from 1914 in Introduction of Narcissism, Freud explicitly enunciated the distinction between the concept of Ideal and sublimation, anticipating the conceptual status that the latter acquires a year later, in Instincts and their vicissitudes, to be formalized as one of the four drive´s destinies. This work plan will investigate the theoretical development that Freud elaborated, from the beginning of his theoretical production, where the term sublimation was confined to the field of ethical and aesthetic ideals only, to its formulation as a structuring of the drive.
