En primer lugar, nos proponemos elaborar teóricamente, caracterizar y definir el concepto de “momentos electivos”. Procederemos entonces a localizar tales momentos en materiales clínicos correspondientes a casos diagnosticados como psicosis, para evaluar, luego, las consecuencias clínicas de aquellos. El material clínico proviene de tres lugares: 1) tratamientos llevados a cabo en el Servicio de Clínica de Adultos, Facultad de Psicología (UBA); 2) casos de la práctica clínica propia, con pacientes atendidas en Consultorios Externos, Hospital Moyano; 3) reportes de presentaciones de enfermos, realizadas en el Hospital Moyano, Departamento de Docencia e Investigación, Práctica Hospitalaria, Clínica de Adultos I. Nuestra hipótesis principal sostiene que es posible ubicar momentos electivos en los tratamientos analíticos con pacientes psicóticos. Entendemos por “momentos electivos”, aquellos puntos privilegiados en los que se pone de manifiesto frente a la determinación del mecanismo psicótico que se impone, la sumisión al mismo, por un lado; y la posibilidad de sustraerse a tal coerción, por otro. Evaluaremos los efectos clínicos de tales momentos en los modos particulares del encuentro entre paciente y analista; inicio del tratamiento; auto-tratamiento de los retornos en lo real; modos de conducirse el paciente en las presentaciones de enfermo; terminación de los tratamientos.

Elective moments in the psychoanalytical treatment for psychosis and in the presentation of ill patients device.
At first, we propose to accomplish a theoretical elaboration, to characterize and to define the concept of “elective moments”. Then, we are proceeding to localize those moments in cases of psychosis, and assessing the clinical consequences. These clinical cases come from three places: 1) from Clinical Service for Adults, Faculty of Psychology (UBA); 2) from the own clinical practice, accomplished in the External Offices Service, Moyano Hospital; and 3) several reports from presentations of ill patients, which are carried out in Moyano Hospital, Department of Education and Investigation, Hospital Practice, Clinic for Adults I (UBA). Our main hypothesis proposes that it is possible to find e-lective moments in psychoanalitical treatment with psychotic patients. We understand as “elective moments”, those privileged points of the treatment in which the coercion of the psychotic mechanism, and the submission to it, are shown; and the possibility to escape too. We are assessing the clinical effects of these moments through the specific modes of the meeting between the psychoanalyst and the patient; the beginning of the treatment; self-treatment of the real returns; types of conduct the patient himself in presentations of the ill; ending of treatment.
