Resumen en español:

El objetivo principal del plan de trabajo de la beca es estudiar las actitudes hacia
la Política de los estudiantes universitarios.
Se buscara analizar los factores y mecanismos que orientan los comportamientos de los estudiantes universitarios respecto de la política; desde las decisiones electorales hasta la adhesión a un determinado partido político o discurso.
Se ubicará la noción de actitud en el centro de la explicación.
Se entiende que, sobre todo, la política debe propender la generación de medidas que favorecen el valor de lo público. Es decir, la calidad de mediaciones intersubjetivas en el espacio publico. Sujetos públicos son los individuos que conocen y pueden tomar decisiones en el espacio público sobre distintos aspectos que hacen la dilucidación de conflictos y al desarrollo en la sociedad. La vida pública es entendida como las interacciones, las condiciones sociales de la intersubjetividad.
En sí misma, la actitud no es directamente observable sino que es una variable latente, que ha de ser inferida de ciertas respuestas mensurables y que refleja una evaluación global positiva o negativa del objeto de la actitud . En palabras de J. F. Morales(1994), conocer una actitud implica distuinguir con detalle cada uno de sus tres componentes: cognitivo, afectivo y conativo conductual

The attitudes towards Politics of university students

The main objective of the working plan of the research project is to study the university students´ attitudes towards Politics.
The factors and mechanisms which orientate the behaviour of the students as regards Politics - from the electoral decisions to the affiliation to a particular political party and the discourse - will be analyzed.
The notion of attitude will be located in the core of the explanation.
The concept of Politics is understood as the generation of measures which support the value of the public sphere. This is to say, the quality of the inter-subjective mediations in the public sphere. Public subjects as individuals who know and can take decisions in the public sphere about the development of the society. Public life is understood as the social interactions, the social conditions of inter-subjectivity.
The attitude itself is not directly observable but it is a latent variable, which must be inferred from certain measurable answers and which reflects a positive or negative global evaluation of the object of the attitude. In J. F. Morales own words (1994), knowing an attitude implies distinguishing in detail each of its three components: cognitive, affective and behavioural conative.
