El presente proyecto se integra a la investigación UBACyT 2010-2012, código Nº 20020090200105, con asiento en la Secretaría de Investigaciones de la Facultad de Psicología de la Universidad de Buenos Aires, titulado Cultura y Subcultura en las Organizaciones que Albergan Jóvenes Infractores a la Ley Penal: Aportes de la Psicología Jurídica y de la Psicología Institucional. En la citada investigación se destaca que al interior de una organización es posible diferenciar una cultura dominante y diferentes subculturas subyacentes, las que a su vez intentan reflejar sus propios supuestos. Estas subculturas afectan el funcionamiento de toda la organización y el comportamiento de los sujetos inmersos en ella. En virtud de esto, y considerando la investigación a la que se adscribe el presente proyecto, es que éste tendrá la siguiente hipótesis de trabajo: La cultura organizacional del área de educación formal que existe en contextos de encierro, actúa como una subcultura que afecta el comportamiento y el funcionamiento de los sujetos inmersos en los mismos. A tal efecto, y considerando las escasas investigaciones existentes sobre el tema, el estudio se basará en un diseño exploratorio y en la triangulación metodológica.

Intramural school: Culture or Subculture?

The present project joins to the investigation UBACyT 2010-2012, code Nº 20020090200105, with seat the Secretariat of Investigations of the Faculty of Psychology of the University of Buenos Aires, named Culture and Subculture in Organizations that are home to young offenders into the criminal law: Approach from the Juridical Psychology and of the Institutional Psychology . In the mentioned investigation one emphasizes that to the interior of an organization it is possible to differentiate a dominant culture and different underlying subcultures, which in turn try to reflect his own suppositions. These subcultures affect the functioning of the whole organization and the behavior of the immersed subjects in it. By virtue of this, and considering the investigation to which the present project is assigned, it is that this one will have the following hypothesis of work: The organizational culture of the area of formal education that exists in contexts of confinement, acts as a subculture that affects the behavior and the functioning of the immersed subjects in the same ones. To such an effect, and considering the scanty existing investigations on the topic, the study will be based on an exploratory design and on the methodological triangulation.
