Intento/ideación suicida: consultas, resolución y reincidencia en la guardia de salud mental

RESUMEN

En el siguiente artículo se exponen algunos de los resultados obtenidos en la investigación “Los dispositivos para alojar la urgencia desde la mirada de los profesionales psicólogos que intervienen en ellos”, UBACyT 2023-2026. En esta oportunidad, se seleccionan aquellos relevados en la variable “motivo de consulta en adultos”, focalizando en el valor “intento de suicidio/ideación suicida”. Asimismo, se analizan los resultados obtenidos respecto de las variables “resolución de la consulta por guardia” y “reincidencia”. Luego de desarrollar la lectura de estos datos desde la perspectiva de la salud y desde el psicoanálisis, se arriba a una discusión en la cual se destaca la relevancia de la intervención del psicoanalista en la guardia de Salud Mental y la imperiosa necesidad de un trabajo intra e interinstitucional para dar curso a los tratamientos.

ABSTRACT

Suicidal attempt/ideation: consultations, resolution and recidivism in the mental health guard

The following article presents some of the results obtained in the research “Devices to accommodate urgency from the perspective of the psychological professionals who intervene in them”, UBACyT 2023-2026. On this occasion, those surveyed in the variable “reason for consultation in adults” are selected, focusing on the value “suicide attempt/suicidal ideation.” Likewise, the results obtained with respect to the variables “resolution of the consultation by guard” and “recidivism” are analyzed. After developing the reading of these data from the perspective of health and from psychoanalysis, we arrive at a discussion in which the relevance of the intervention of the psychoanalyst in the Mental Health guard and the imperative need for intra and inter-institutional work to give progress to the treatments are highlighted.
